PLUMMERS'S ARCTIC LODGES - GREAT BEAR LAKE LODGE
NORTHWEST TERRITORIES, CANADA
Great Bear Lodge is located in Canada's Northwest Territories on the 4th largest lake in North America and the edge of the tree line, hundreds of miles from civilization.
This lake is fished by only 400 lucky anglers each year and there is arguably no better fishing for lake trout, arctic grayling and northern pike in the world. Great Bear boasts the All Tackle World Records for both trout and grayling, as well as dozens of line class records. Numerous fly out side trips from the lodge are available and many are to barely touched secrets that 50 years of flying around the arctic have produced. Grayling rivers that will tire the arms of even the most practiced angler are a short airplane or boat ride away from the lodge.
Plummer's Great Bear Lake Lodge is world famous for providing an unparalleled first class all inclusive fly in fishing adventure and Great Bear Lodge is the transshipment point for all of Plummer's operations in the Northwest Territories and the lodge can accommodate up to 44 guests in executive comfort. Unlike many destinations, Great Bear Lodge also has excellent meeting facilities with audio/visual equipment, internet and satellite phone access.
Guests have breakfast in the main lodge at 7am and meet their guides at the dock for 8am before heading out on the water for the day. Shore lunches are typically served with guests returning to the lodge for dinner by 6pm.
