The above picture is of the sidewalk off of Stavebank Road in the Port Credit Harbour that leads to the mouth of the Credit River. It is a pretty spot and one that I have frequented with my dog on a regular basis for years.
Early yesterday morning a friend of mine with whom I have worked for over 10 years drove his car over the curb, lined it up so he wouldn’t hit the retaining walls on either side of the sidewalk… and hit the gas. You wouldn’t know that anything untoward had happened except for the faint tire tracks on the sidewalk and the presence of a lone flower that has been left where his car launched off the retaining wall…
