By all accounts we had a great day in the store yesterday ! We opened at 9 am and by 9:30 there was a stream of customers that didn’t finish until the end of the day. The only unfortunate thing was that Jim had car problems that prevented him from joining us until mid afternoon because of the wait at the garage – and he was supposed to bring the food !
Our regular Saturday team of Mike Fitzgerald, Todd Fritzley, James Wachiuri and Gary Horton was joined by David Nonomura who dropped in to say hello and give us an update on how university is going. It was great to see David again but the true highlight was the look on some of our customer’s faces who were very pleasantly surprised to learn we were having a sale ! Everyone who came was given an opportunity to give us their email address and reach into a jar of discount coupons from 10 to 40% off their purchases. The event went over so well that we have decided to extend this sale up to Christmas – but only to those who ask about it !
