There are a lot of places flying under the radar for anglers looking to spend a relaxing weekend with friends and the Falls Inn & Spa is one of those places. Centrally located in the Grey Highlands and located an easy drive to the Saugeen River, the Bighead River, the Beaver River, the Boyne River and the Mad River, we highly recommend this Inn as a great place to stay for a weekend of fly fishing in Southern Ontario.
Run by Meg and Dwayne Hallman, The Falls Inn & Spa is a new facility built in 2005 that has 15 luxury rooms and all have a great view overlooking Walters Falls. Internet access and satellite television are available and each room is very clean and well kept with comfortable Queen-sized beds. A member of Ontario’s Finest Inns, the size of the Falls Inn is such that it can accommodate smaller to mid-sized groups so the atmosphere is intimate and the staff are very attentive. The bar at the Inn is well stocked and the dining room has an excellent menu ranging from rack of lamb to seafood and the food is, in a word, excellent ! We also strongly advise that you make the time to stick around for brunch on Sundays (just take our word for it). While we did not have an opportunity to have any treatments in the spa we understand the services offered will keep even the most jealous non-fly fishing spouse happily occupied for a day…
Because the feedback on our first trip to the Inn was so positive we have planned another weekend of fly fishing out of the Inn for September 17-19 so please mark these dates on your calendar and call our store to book your room as soon as possible (pricing will be announced shortly).
