Fly-in fishing vacations are thought by many to be too expensive or difficult to arrange for the average angler but they are available just north of Toronto at rates that make what many consider ‘trips of a lifetime’ surprisingly affordable !
Founded in 1982, Stanton Air is a full service, custom air charter company that specializes in fly-in fishing vacations in Central Ontario. All of their lakes are fly-in only and within easy reach of their Operations Base near Orillia, a mere 90-minute drive north of Toronto near Casino Rama.
Each cabin sleeps from four up to eight people in either open-room or multi-bedroom layouts and have propane stoves, fridges, lighting and gas barbecues. Kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and other kitchens basics. There are also aluminum boats with motors available on each lake.
