Just a reminder that hatch charts for many of the rivers in southern Ontario are available on our blog and all of the flies you need for the upcoming season are feverishly being tied in our store by our in-house production fly tier James Wachiuri under the watchful eye of our manager Vasilios “Bill” Katraouras.
If you want to know what fly you should be using on what river and, more importantly, when – give us a call, we will be more than happy to help !

New to the sport. Heading out to the rocky saugeen on May 2, any aid on flies and/or access points for wader fishing would be appreciated,(driving up northbound on hwy 6).
Hi Dave,
You can pull the hatch chart off of our website. As far as access points go, the best place to begin is simply by looking at a road map and seeing where the river can be accessed. The next place would be to check out canoe access points. The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority has a good map available on their website.
Very Best,
Jim
We now have over 20 fly fishing access maps on our website. You can check them out at http://www.canadasflyfishingoutfitter.com/maps.php
