Many of you know that I do not work in the store because I have a full time job in commercial real estate. I am a tenant representative with Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Royal LePage Commercial) and I lease office space across the country for a number of clients. One of the organizations I have had the pleasure of working with over the years is World Vision Canada. Some time ago I was retained by WV to assist them with the relocation of their Canadian Head Office and through that assignment I became familiar with the organization that I had hitherto known only by name.
I am not an overtly religious person (who am I kidding, I have never been baptized and have not been in a church for years) but I consider myself fortunate for having had the opportunity to work with Dave Toycen and the rest of the team at World Vision Canada. I have been in commercial real estate for over 20 years and can say without hesitation that WVC is one of the best run organizations I have ever encountered and because of my experience I would not hesitate recommending the organization to anyone interested in making a charitable donation for a worthy cause.

I make an annual pilgrimage to the Canadian Head Office of World Vision Canada in Mississauga to purchase gifts for my family every Christmas because I know from experience that my money is well spent. If you are having trouble finding a gift for a friend or a family member, I highly recommend a visit to their office or their website – it truly does make a difference !
