If you are new to fly fishing and hang around people who are complaining that the season is over – check again because there is a LOT of fishing yet to be done ! Check out the following link to the Ontario MNR Fishing Regulations and get out on some water. If you are interested in fishing you should know there are a number of rivers open all year for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Pacific Salmon and other rivers have an extended season to December 31. Please make sure you note the exceptions listed in the regulations as there are some reaches that are closed.
Remember there’s no bad weather – just bad clothing (I think a wise retailer said that…)
