We received some nice feedback from a client this week that we appreciated on a number of fronts. First, he was kind enough to take the time to send us an email to explain how his shopping experience went and offered some excellent advice on what we might do to get better. Secondly, he complimented us on our pricing. It is nice to get emails like this but addmitedly a bit frustrating because the inference is our pricing is greater because of our location in downtown Toronto but as this angler discovered, our pricing is competitive and our selection is better than most fly shops.
We mention this because like most businesses we usually hear from customers only when things go wrong and seldom when things go right… What else had impressed him ? We were the only shop – including the Big Box Retailer – where he could find a selection of wading boots in sizes 13 and 14. We don’t sell many – but we keep them in stock and it’s nice to hear from people who are taking the time to check out what we have.
