I received an email the other day from Randy Wilson who organizes the Grand River Spey Clave every year. Randy is organizing an informal clave at Bean Park in Paris Ontario on Saturday April 17th,2010 beginning at 10 am. This is going to be the first informal Spey Day of 2010 and Neil Houlding will be instructing and working with people to develop and improve casting techniques.
If you have your own spey outfit please bring it along. If you don’t have a spey outfit bring your single hander as you can use it if you like. Neil will have spey rods with him and there will be a few extra outfits available for people to borrow.
There will be a small charge of $10 for the day which will be passed onto Neil to give hime a little something for his time and Randy Wilson is kindly supplying a BBQ lunch of smoked sausage, burgers and bottled water at no charge.
