We figured out why our sales shot through the roof in March. Turns out we have inventory that no one else has (and we thought it was because we’re special… damn). Oh well, whatever works !
These are trying times for every fly shop out there and, at the risk of stating the obvious, these days having inventory is critical. Our regular customers have long known that no other fly shop in Ontario – including our friendly Big Box retailer up Hwy 400 – has close to the same amount of inventory that we carry. In fact, a number of people have commented that our inventory is likely equal to the total of the other fly shops in Southwestern Ontario combined. I don’t know if that is true and regardless, it doesn’t necessarily make us the best fly shop – but it does make us the fly shop with the best selection. We just also happen to have the best pricing policy as well…
As word continues to spread of our inventory levels, how friendly & knowledgeable are staff are and, perhaps most importantly, our pricing policy, we are seeing more and more new customers come into our store. We hope that trend continues and look forward to continuing to earn the right to be your fly shop of choice.
